Ragunan Zoo is a zoo located in the Ragunan, Sunday Market, South Jakarta, Indonesia. An area of 140 acres of the zoo was founded in 1864. In it, there are various collection consisting of 295 species and 4040 specimens.
Ragunan was closed for about three weeks since 19 September 2005 for the animals in which there are infected with bird flu, but reopened on October 11. [Citation needed]
